On July 1, 2026, the State of Georgia implemented a new finance system called GA@Work. While GA@Work is in its infancy, agencies statewide are experiencing payment processing delays. The AOC is working diligently with our executive branch partners in the State Accounting Office (“SAO”) to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.

Some processes that were never problematic under the old system are now causing issue. Most recently, GA@Work is not permitting the AOC to process travel reimbursements to any individual who is not an employee of the AOC. Our Fiscal team is actively addressing this issue with SAO. The AOC will remain engaged to ensure this fix happens as quickly as possible, and any other issues that may arise are resolved expediently.
